If I could turn back the time I would I’d go back to before when life Was understood Back before I knew That my eyes where blue You’re as warm as the sun As it shines through You’re as warm as the sun As it shines through I’m as cold as the sea As it is blue But I am just a boy still With a mind full of poison If I could uncommit these crimes I would I’d go back on your shoulders where I was understood Back before I knew There could be a deeper blue You’re as warm as the sun As it shines through You’re as warm as the sun As it shines through I’m as cold as the sea As it is blue But I am just a boy still With a mind full of poison

Ghouls 03:05
Flaunt your gentle soul Watch your dreams take control Show the world that you care The world needs more people like you here But nobody told you about the ghouls in paradise They'll rip you off and tell you that you've been a parasite Straight down the vultures neck you go It's probably too late to ask how so They say this earth is sinking But we're not the captains is what I was thinking All you've got to do is step out of the flame There will be a time for you to rule once again But now you know about the ghouls in paradise They'll rip you off and tell you that you've been a parasite Straight down the vultures neck you go It's probably too late to ask how so

Black dog 03:08
Don't break your mother's heart today That rope has no use put it away You will get through this all you've got to do is carry on There will be room for you room for you down the road to grow There's on big cloud blowing up the sky And nobody ever told you why All you've got to do is keep it going strong All you've got to do is keep on going on Cause that Black dog don't fit that shoe No no that black dog don't fit that shoe Black dog don't fit that shoe Don't break your brother's heart today That rope has no use put it away You will get through this all you've got to do is carry on There will be room for you room for you down the road to grow Black dog don't fit that shoe No no that black dog don't fit that shoe Black dog don't fit that shoe

Cold Water 02:46
Sewing the seeds of This cold truth Growing up beside the wind That blows away the truth My skin is thickening You’ve been pulling this trickery Bringing me closer to death This cold water Surrounds us all Like leaves in autumn We are bound to fall But I’ve been a blackhole for too long But I don’t know much about space so Gotta carry on and just Hold you closely To my heartbeat Hold you close Before I go Just like shooting stars we were up in the sky millions of years away Millions on miles And I wonder if we could ever do it again cause I want you Just like shooting stars we were up in the sky millions of years away Millions on miles And I wonder if we could ever do it again cause I want to This cold water Surrounds us all Like leaves in autumn We are bound to fall But I’ve been a blackhole for too long But I don’t know much about space so Gotta carry on and just Hold you closely To my heartbeat Hold you close Before I go

Elephant 02:45
There's an elephant There's an elephant Standing in the middle of the room And he's telling me he's telling me He's gonna enter my mind soon To shatter those memories of good times and melodies that I have made over the years And you've been dragging your bones around with every tear Cause life can be difficult fucked up and unfair But we got to remember that we're lucky to be here To feel breeze on fingertips and sunshine on our backs And once we go we know there aint no going back So don't hold a grudge and show a bit of love To the people around you that care Or they may remain unaware There's a monster There's a monster Sitting at the bottom of the deep And he's telling me he's telling me He's gonna enter my mind in my sleep To shatter those memories of good times and melodies that I have made over the years And you've been dragging your bones around again Cause life can be difficult toilsome and unfair But we got to remember that we're lucky to be here To feel breeze on fingertips and sunshine on our backs And once we go we know there aint no going back So don't hold a grudge and show a bit of love To the people around you that care Or they may remain unaware

about

This is a collection of songs I've written over the past few years highlighting the good and bad times. It's my first released work with a real stripped back approach aiming that the simplicity has its effect to emphasise the lyrics and melodies.
